New Media

When it comes to thinking about a new media that doesn’t exist, it is a lot tougher than one may think. I think a means of mass communication that bridges cultural and language barriers might be the most effective new media the world has ever seen. Technology hasn’t been able to move past certain aspects of language, and as we know, language is the cornerstone of the human condition and a global society. Without language, we would be and have nothing. If there were a mass communication method that could bridge the gaps of culture and language and unite people in a way that is the most basic human connection, it would change the world.
